Location

The Mitsis Summer Palace Hotel in Kos, Greece is situated at the foothills of Mount Dikaios on the hillside. Access to the beach is via quite a steep hill or by the hotels venicular. It is only a short distance away from the popular resort of Kardamena and the bustling capital of Kos Town is only half an hour away. Please note that due to its location on a hill it may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Accommodation at the Mitsis Summer Palace is beautifully furnished with a classic interior that has been designed to reflect the high standards and quality of a luxurious 5 star hotel. All of the guest rooms and suites are equipped with air conditioning and heating facilities, en-suit bathrooms and hairdryer, mini bar/fridge, Satellite TV with music channel and a safety deposit box (charge applies). Baby Cots are also available as well as a hotel babysitting service (although you will be charged for this service). Room service is also available between 7.30 am until 10.30pm although a service fee will be applied.

There is an abundance of facilities available at the Mitsis Summer Palace Hotel for guests to use at their leisure. If you fancy a refreshing dip there is the seawater swimming pool as well as the beautiful soft sand and pebble beach with its free sun beds. For those that enjoy a relaxing swim the hotel provides a “Relax Atrium” with a calm indoor swimming pool for adults only which is located next to the pool bar and the mini market. The Mitsis Summer Palace also provides a separate children’s seawater swimming pool with a pirates ship, as well as a water park with large water slides. There are also a wide variety of sports facilities although some of them will have a charge. Sports facilities available at no extra charge include 2 tennis courts with floodlights and equipment, billiards, table tennis, bridge room, beach volley, canoes and pedal boats. Extra sporting facilities available at an extra charge include a water sports centre where guests can participate in scuba diving lessons, waterskiing, jet skiing, and paragliding and banana boats. The Summer Palace also boasts an excellent multi-lingual animation with a brilliant entertainment programme throughout the day and night, which includes musicals, cabarets, themed nights and fun competitions. Guests who are staying at the Mitsis Summer Palace Hotel are also able to use the hotel facilities and All Inclusive Programme at the Mitsis Ramira Beach, which is situated in Kos Town, and at no extra charge! All that you have to do is show your All Inclusive wristband at the hotel. There is also a brilliant open-air theatre located in between The Mitsis Norida beach Hotel, The Mitsis Summer Palace and the Mitsis Family Village. The theatre can accommodate up to 750 guests and has its own bar.
