The Mitsis Family Village Hotel is a 4 star All Inclusive hotel in Kos, Greece and is part of the Mitsis Hotel Group. It is an excellent choice for both couples and families looking for an entertaining but relaxing holiday. Its ideal location gives guests amazing views across the dazzling Aegean Sea as it sits on a steep hillside and is extremely close to a beach that families and couples can both enjoy. With its vast array of facilities, delicious cuisine and its own kids club the Mitsis Family Village Hotel ensures that both families and couples enjoy their Greek holidays as much as possible.

Location

The Mitsis Family Village in Kos, Greece is located 11km away from Kos airport and is nestled at the foot of Mount Dikeos with a pebble beach just 200metres away. The City of Kos is 30km away and the admired village Kardamena is only 5km away. There is also a bus stop that is situated just 150 metres away with a bus that takes you all the way into Kardamena. Because of its brilliant location guests get a beautiful view of the volcanic island of Nisyros. Please note that this hotel may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties due to its hillside location.

Clients returning on a night flight may arrange locally to retain their room (and armband) until 22:00 on their last night at a cost of €40 per room.

Facilities available for guests to use at their leisure at the Mitsis Family Village include 2 out door swimming pools (one is sea water and one is fresh water) these are ideal for cooling off in during the warm heat throughout the day or just to splash around in. Surrounding the swimming pools there are umbrellas and sun beds available free of charge (these are also available at the nearby beach). For even more water entertainment there is a water park with slides that is open from 10.30am until 5pm. The hotel also provides entertainment especially for children! There is a children’s mini club for children from the age of 4 years old where your children can meet people their own age and participate in fun games as well as arts and crafts. There is also a fresh water swimming pool just for children and a fun children’s disco. The Mitsis Family Village also has an abundance of sports and entertainment facilities available although for some of them there is an extra charge. Facilities that are free to use include two tennis courts, beach soccer games, beach volley games, water polo, table tennis, canoes and pedal boats. Wind surfing is also free but a valid certificate is required. Facilities that are available at an extra charge include use of the water sports centre where you can water ski, jet ski, go parasailing and ride the banana boats. You can also participate in scuba diving lessons and trips as well as boat tours. The hotel also boasts a multilingual animation team that provides an extensive entertainments programme throughout the day and into the night. They co-ordinate group games ad activities, provide musical entertainment as well as shows and organising competitions. Once a week there is also Greek Night where guests can hear live Greek music and watch the dancing. Guests at the Mitsis Family Village Hotel can also make use of the facilities and the All Inclusive programme at the Mitsis Ramira Beach, which is located in Kos Town and at no extra charge! All that you have to do is show your All Inclusive bracelet to staff.

Accommodation at the Mitsis Family Village Hotel is elegantly decorated in an array of beautiful Mediterranean colours and offer guests stunning views of the vibrant hotel gardens or of the glittering Aegean Sea. Facilities within the rooms include air-conditioning/ heating, en-suite bathrooms with hairdryer and a direct dial telephone. Rooms also feature a refrigerator, safety deposit box (charge applies) and a balcony/terrace where you can unwind after a long day by the pool or at the beach.

Dining Options:

Dining choices at the Mitsis Family Village include the main restaurant where an American style buffet breakfast is served in the morning. During the day it specialises in superb local cuisine as well as international dishes and it also features show cooking. The Beach bar also serves light snacks throughout the day as well as refreshing drinks it is open daily from 10.30am to 5.30pm. The hotels main bar is also open daily from 10am until midnight and is the perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy a revitalising soft drink or a delicious cocktail. If you have booked an excursion whilst staying at the hotel you can exchange one of your main meals for a lunch basket, although orders for these must be placed by 8pm one day in advance at the reception desk.
