Location

The Mitsis Norida Beach in Kos, Greece has a brilliant location at the base of Mount Dikeos and overlooking a broad beach. The hotel is just a short distance (about 5km) from the dynamic Kardamena Town and 30km from Kos Town. For those guests that like to go on exciting day excursions you can get on a boat at Kardamena Harbour and enjoy a trip to the beautiful volcanic island of Nisyros, whilst from Kos Town you can enjoy a boat trip or Hydrofoil to Bodrum (Turkey), Rhodes, Kalmnos, Leros and Patmos. Please be advised that whilst its location offers guests spectacular views of the glistening Aegean Sea it may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties.

Clients returning on a night flight may arrange locally to retain their room (and armband) until 22.00 on their last night at a cost of €40 per room.

The Mistsis Norida Beach has an outstanding choice of leisure facilities for guests to enjoy throughout their holiday. Why not take a refreshing dip in one of the two outdoor swimming pools (one is sea water and one is freshwater) or a relaxing swim in the “Relax Pool” which is for adults only, children will enjoy the exhilarating waterslides and splashing around on the beach. The Mitsis Norida Beach is an extremely child friendly hotel and has a dedicated team working on the kids entertainment programme where they can participate in fun games and activities. The mini club is open from 10.00 am until 12.30pm and then opens again from 3.pm to 5pm. Other facilities available for children to use include the two children’s swimming pools (one is sea water and one is fresh water), a kid’s restaurant and a daily children’s disco. Sports and leisure facilities that are available free of charge include 2 floodlit tennis courts, a bridge room, billiards, table tennis, beach volley ball, basketball nets, water polo games, darts, canoes, pedal boats and windsurfing (although you do need a valid certificate for this). Other sports facilities available (although a charge does apply) include use of the water sports centre where there is water skiing, jet skiing, paragliding; catamaran sailing and banana boat rides. There are also scuba diving lessons available and fun boat trips. The hotel also has a multilingual animation programme available throughout the day, which includes games; shows, competitions and the weekly Greek night where you can enjoy live music and folk dancing. The hotel also boasts an open-air theatre, which is located between the three complexes of the Norida Beach, The Family Village and the Summer Palace. Guests staying at this brilliant hotel also get to use the amazing facilities and the All Inclusive programme at the Mitsis Ramira Beach, located in Kos town at no extra charge. All that you need to do is show the hotel staff your All Inclusive wristband.

The interior is decorated to reflect the high standards that the Mitsis Norida Beach likes to provide its guests with. All rooms are equipped with individual air conditioning/heating units and an en-suite bathroom with hairdryer. Rooms are also furnished with a direct dial telephone, mini bar/fridge, satellite TV with music channel, safety deposit box and a balcony or terrace.

There is a variety of dining options available at this luxurious hotel. Why not grab a bite to eat in “La Princessa” the Norida beach main restaurant. It serves delicious food such as an American style buffet breakfast (served from 7am – 10am), and international and local cuisine is served at lunch and dinner served as a buffet, there is also show cooking at the restaurant. Guests that would like a change from the main restaurant are able to dine at the tavern “la Pergola” which serves diners with Italian style food such as pasta and wonderful mixed grills. The hotel also has a Chinese restaurant and a restaurant just for kids “le Smurfs” with a special children’s menu and adult supervision. If you’re not feeling too hungry there are snacks and light meals served throughout the day at “Villagio Café” and the beach bar
