Description

The Five Star Mitsis Rodos Maris Village Complex in the fantastic Greek island of Rhodes is an All Inclusive complex and part of the Mitsis Hotel Group. The Mitsis Rodos Maris Hotel is located on the beach and the Mitsis Rodos Village is located just across the road and both are linked via a bridge. The complex is an excellent venue for a family holiday and also for couples. The fun and friendly atmosphere and the excellent staff ensure that both families and couples alike will always have fond memories of their time in Rhodes, Greece. Please note that guests will be allocated their rooms on arrival in either hotel.

Location

The Mitsis Rodos Village in Rhodes, Greece has a great location just 120metres from the beach and the captivating Aegean Sea. The Mitsis Rodos Maris Hotel is just across the road directly on the beach. Both are situated on the coastal road. It is just a short journey to Kiotari Village where there are a few charming restaurants and Tavernas. The livelier resorts of Lardos, Pefkos and the picturesque Lindos are all just a short drive away. Rhodes airport is 55km away and Rhodes Harbour is 60km away. The nearby beach is ideal for families with children as it is gently sloping.

There is an abundance of facilities for guests to use throughout their stay at the brilliant Mitsis Rodos Village hotel, why not take a revitalising dip in one of the three fresh water swimming pools? One even has a waterfall combined within it! There are also sun beds and umbrellas surrounding the pools so that guests can relax in the sun. To keep children entertained the hotel has a “Mini Club” involves group games, arts and crafts and fun competitions. Trained Staff work from 10.30am-12.30pm and then from 2.30pm-6.30pm to supervise the children participating in the “Mini Club” scheme. The complex has numerous sports facilities available for guests to enjoy during their holiday although some do have an extra charge. Free sports facilities include 2 tennis courts with floodlights (equipment is supplied at an extra charge), fitness room, aerobic classes, beach football, beach volleyball, water polo, wind surfing (although a valid certificate is required), billiards, boccia, darts boards and table tennis facilities are also available free of charge. Facilities that will incur an extra charge include use of the water sports at the water sports centre such as Jet Skiing, water skiing, paragliding, banana boat rides, catamaran rides, pedal boats, sailing, scuba diving and lessons. Guests can also use the hotel sauna, massage service and spa at the neighbouring Rodos Maris Hotel although an extra charge will apply.

This hotel boasts 3 fresh water swimming pools for guests to use throughout their stay as well as its own private pebble beach. There are sun beds and umbrellas provided around the pools and on the beach free of charge and towels are available but a deposit is required. As well as having the outdoor pools there is also a freshwater indoor pool available. The Rodos Maris Resort and Spa welcomes families and has a fun and friendly kids animation team. The animation team provides an exciting programme of games and activities to entertain your children whilst you relax by the pool. Sports facilities for guests to enjoy include 3 tennis courts with flood lights(equipment at an extra charge), fully equipped fitness room (open from 10am-2pm and then from 5pm-8pm.), billiards, Aerobic classes, Table Tennis, beach football, beach volley ball games, water polo, exciting water slides, canoes and wind surfing 9a valid certificate is required). Sports facilities where you will have to pay an extra fee include the waters ports centre where you can water ski, Jet Ski, paraglide, ride the banana boats and go sailing as well as scuba diving and scuba diving lessons. There are numerous dining options at the Mitsis Rodos Village Hotel. These include “Lindos” the main hotel restaurant where breakfast is served from 7am-10am, lunch is served from 12.30pm-2.30pm and dinner is served from 7pm-9.30pm. Guests can also dine at the Pizzeria “Miramonte” an a la carte Italian restaurant. It is an excellent venue for lunch (between 1pm and 3pm) as it can be a nice variation to the food served in the main restaurant although table reservations need to be booked one day in advance at the reception desk. If you fancy tasting some delectable cocktails then why not visit the main hotels bar where you can unwind after a long day of sunbathing. A variety of hot and cold snacks are available throughout the day at the main snack bar, these include, burgers, chips, ice creams and salads. If you visit the “Rock Café” you will find that there is a selection of sandwiches as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available from 10am-12am. Afternoon tea with cookies and biscuits is also served daily at the “Rock Café” between 4.30pm and 5.30pm. Drinks that are available on the All Inclusive package include local wines (red, white and rose), draught beer, ouzo, brandy, tea/coffee, juices and soft drinks. Bottled mineral water is not included. For some of the bars and restaurants during the evening there is a strict dress code and no shorts are allowed.

The Mitsis Rodos Maris Resort and Spa Hotel has numerous dining facilities for you to try during your stay there. The Main Restaurant serves an American style buffet breakfast from 7am until 10am and a late continental buffet breakfast from 10.15am until 11am. Lunch is served from 12.30pm until 2.30pm and dinner from7pm until 9.30p. The main restaurant offers local and international cuisine, which you can enjoy either indoors or al fresco! Every evening, guests have the opportunity to taste different types of specialties, from Greek, Chinese, Mexican or Italian to fish specialties, etc. Guests arriving late are entitled to a late dinner buffet, from 22h00 to 01h00. The following drinks are inclusive: local wines (red, white and rose), beer, juices and soft drinks. Please note that the hotel does have a dress code of an evening in all bars and restaurants. For guests that fancy a change from the main restaurant there is also the Taverna, which provides a variety of traditional Greek and Italian cuisine and is open for lunch from 10m until 2.30pm and opens again for dinner from 7pm until 9.30pm. Please note that reservations are necessary and can be made at the reception desk. Drinks available on the All Inclusive programme in the taverna are local wines, beer, juice and soft drinks. The hotel also has 2 new restaurants, one serving traditional Greek appetisers (mezzes) and a Chinese restaurant where you can indulge yourself with some delicious cuisine. Light Snacks and beverages are available throughout the day at the pool bar, beach bar and Gelateria. Please be aware that there is a dress code for the restaurants and bars of an evening.
