Ovacik is a little area that leads into Hisaronu. Along the main road of Ovacik there are a few small local restaurants, and a few shops where you can buy everyday amenities. The local bus is called the Dolmus and it passes along the main road every 20 minutes, it takes approximately 5 minutes to get to the centre of Hisaronu.

The nearest beach to the resorts is the world famous and very popular Olu Deniz lagoon with its crystal clear waters and clean sand, or the pebble and sand beach of Belcekiz. There is a local bus that leaves every ten minutes.

If lounging on the beach all day isn’t quite your thing then don’t worry, as there are plenty of other sights to see. Why not visit Butterfly Valley – a beautiful limestone canyon that's home to several species of butterflies or the deserted Greek village of Kayakoy and the ancient Lycian rock tombs at Fethiye?

Hisaronu is the busier of the two villages and most restaurants, shops and bars are based on one main street, whilst at the top of the village is a weekly market where it can be great fun choosing unusual locally produced souvenirs of your time in Turkey.
